Generalist, Human Resources - CR
Position Overview
Support the day-to-day operations of the HR department by providing guidance, coordination and support across various HR function. Responsible for administering policies and procedures, handling employee relations matters, assisting with performance management and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company standards. Job duties:
- Support the HR Management function by handling administrative and transactional duties, as well as assisting with more strategic HR initiatives. Work across all areas of the organization, particularly with the internal HR teams as well as CR based client groups.
- Collaborate with the HR Management team to support function initiatives.
- Coordinate and support the associate offboarding process, including scheduling and preparing exit interviews, collecting feedback, and ensuring completion of necessary offboarding documentation and procedures.
- Execute and manage HR initiatives, programs, and practices, driving execution and accountability through consistent follow-up.
- Interpret and explain HR policies, procedures, and legal standards or regulations to associates and people managers. Provide guidance to associates on employee relations matters, ensuring alignment with company policies and employment laws.
- Deliver complex analysis of HR data, identify key trends, and contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of associate's engagement, and/or improvement of business performance.
- Address and resolve routine employee relations matters in alignment with the company policies and procedures.
- Assist in managing employee relations by responding to low-level concerns, documenting issues and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and employment laws.
- Support the implementation and coordination of the Integrated Talent Management framework with a focus on performance evaluation and associate development.
- Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- BS / BA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of professional HR experience.
- Experience handling employee relations issues and providing performance management support.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices, including applicable employment laws, compensation, benefits, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including HRIS systems and MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Fully bilingual in written and spoken Spanish and English.
- Experience with performance management systems processes.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing and/or medical device industry.
- Familiarity with HR data analytics and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Labor relations and conflict resolution training.
