Regional Territory Sales Manager - India
Position Overview
Responsible for leading India’s commercial execution and neurovascular business growth under the Company’s APAC structure. Drive sales performance, distributor engagement, and physician partnerships across the neuro-intervention portfolio, ensuring alignment with regional strategy and compliance requirements. In addition to India, may support selected AP Distributor Markets on strategic initiatives, distributor training, or market development activities as assigned by the Regional Sales Director. - Lead the commercial strategy and annual business plan for India, aligned with regional sales objectives.
- Manage sales forecasts, AOP achievement, and quarterly performance reviews across all neurovascular product lines (WEB™, FRED X™, LVIS EVO™, Sofia™, Gel Coils).
- Identify key growth segments, competitive gaps, and new account opportunities; implement action plans to strengthen market presence.
- Support business continuity and market access planning in coordination with RA, SCM, and Marketing.
- Drive distributor performance through structured business reviews, clear KPIs, and execution accountability.
- Support tender planning, pricing structure, and contracting activities under the Company’s governance.
- Ensure distributor sales and clinical teams are trained, compliant, and aligned to product and therapy priorities.
- Collaborate closely with APAC support functions to resolve supply, pricing, or documentation issues.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with key neuro-intervention physicians and institutions across India.
- Drive physician education, workshops, and case support programs in alignment with regional marketing.
- Maintain a compliant approach to Healthcare Provider (HCP) engagement, ensuring adherence to the Company’s code of conduct.
- Provide ad-hoc commercial or training support to AP Distributor Markets when requested by the Regional Sales Director.
- Share best practices, program templates, and performance tracking tools across partners to harmonize field execution standards.
- Participate in regional meetings, workshops, and key congresses representing India and regional interests.
- Coach distributor sales and clinical personnel, strengthening execution discipline and procedural knowledge.
- Identify capability gaps and coordinate joint training with APAC Clinical and Marketing teams.
- Support talent development and succession planning in line with regional workforce strategy.
- Submit accurate monthly sales and forecast reports with insights on market dynamics, pricing, and competitive activity.
- Ensure all sales activities, events, and customer interactions comply with company policies and documentation protocols.
- Maintain transparency and traceability in grant requests, field events, and distributor transactions.
- Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated success in a consultative sales role and/or Angio Suite sales experience.
- Proven track record managing distributors and achieving revenue targets in complex or tender-driven markets.
- Familiarity with neurovascular procedures, physician workflow, and hospital procurement structures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Minimum three (3) years of neurovascular or interventional therapy.
- Neurovascular experience, including strong experience in interventional radiology, cardiology, or minimally invasive vascular therapies.
- Experience in managing distributors in a complex market, including structured sales cadence, funnel management, and running joint business reviews.
- Direct engagement experience with physicians/KOLs.
- Prior experience with multinational medical device companies.
