Regional Sales Manager & Clinical Manager - Asia Pacific

Position Overview

Play a critical role in advancing the company’s commercial and clinical execution across the Asia Pacific region. Support physicians, distributors, and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality procedural support, product adoption, and distributor enablement across hemorrhagic, ischemic, and access portfolios. Bridge clinical expertise with commercial execution, aligning with the company’s strategic focus on expanding treatment penetration, strengthening distributor competency, and sustaining best-in-class procedural outcomes across emerging and mature APAC markets. Job duties:Clinical & Procedural Support
  • Provide on-site and remote procedural support for neurovascular interventions using the company’s technologies (e.g., WEB™, FRED™/FRED X™, PHIL™, Gel Coils™, Sofia™, Chaperon™, Traxcess™).
  • Partner with physicians to optimize procedural outcomes and ensure safe, compliant use of devices.
  • Coordinate observation programs, case follow-up, and physician proctoring schedules.
Distributor & Market Development
  • Build distributor capability through structured clinical and sales training, field shadowing, and performance coaching.
  • Support country-level execution plans and product launches across emerging markets (Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and others).
  • Identify procedural and market opportunities to strengthen the company’s share in targeted disease segments.
Education & Training
  • Develop and execute regional training initiatives in collaboration with marketing and clinical education teams.
  • Facilitate hands-on workshops, digital education, and case-based learning for distributors and physicians.
  • Evaluate post-training case outcomes to measure conversion and program effectiveness.
Sales & Business Support
  • Support sales growth objectives through case involvement, product evaluation, and field execution support.
  • Provide data and market feedback for business planning, tenders, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with distributors to improve customer coverage and post-education performance.
Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure all interactions adhere to company and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain timely reporting on events, trainings, case coverage, and distributor performance metrics.
  • Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    1. Bachelor’s degree in biomedical science, Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or related discipline.
    2. Minimum three (3) to six (6) years of professional experience in the neurovascular or interventional radiology field with a mix of clinical and commercial exposure.
    3. Strong technical understanding of flow diversion, coiling, thrombectomy, and embolization procedures.
    4. Demonstrated ability to conduct physician trainings and support regional programs independently.
    5. Proven success in stakeholder management and clinical collaboration across multiple markets.
    6. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; fluent in English.
    7. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
    8. Knowledge of interventional catheterization skills, vascular anatomies, angiographic imaging technologies, neuro, and physiology.
    9. Understanding of medical device regulations in clinical use, promotions, and ethical codes.
    10. Ability and flexibility to travel to hospitals and participate in training/marketing events with a focus on the Asia Pacific regions.
    Desired Qualifications
    1. Fluency in Mandarin or regional language.
    2. Proficient in articulating product concepts and clinical procedures required to utilize technologies and clinical applications.
    3. Effective multi-tasking skills and capacity to consistently meet deadlines and provide attention to detail.
    4. Ability to effectively interface with Sales field teams, physicians, hospital staff and administration, R&D Engineers, and Marketing staff.
    5. Expertise in utilizing company iPad applications.
    6. Medical background with work experience in hospitals as a nurse or technician.
    7. Ability to read and understand clinical peer review papers.
    8. Strong analytical capability and organizational skills.
    9. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and autonomously.
    10. Ability to build and summarize high-level medical/scientific knowledge, grasp complex concepts quickly, and disseminate information cross-functionally.
    11. Sales and/or prior marketing experience.
    12. Familiar with hospital departmental policies and procedures.
