Position Overview
Perform and support activities such as JV records, releasing and reviewing recurrent reporting for tracking process, assisting in the daily, weekly, or monthly activities to perform the closing process, assisting in the yearly and quarterly budget process, assisting in the annual standard costing process review, cooperating in the inventory cycle counts process, and helping with Ad-Hoc reporting as required. Job duties:
- Prepare daily tracking reporting like from manufacturing and budget variance.
- Assist in the analysis of manufacturing variances by plant.
- Prepare Cap-Ex spending for manufacturing department.
- Assist in the budget and forecast preparation.
- Support and help the review of the annual product costing process.
- Assist and execute various accounting activities related to month end close including: account reconciliations, manufacturing variance reporting, spending analysis, and monthly JV recording.
- Support manufacturing cycle count analysis.
- Assist in the financial management reports as per requested by senior management.
- Perform other duties as assigned according to the FP&A-Cost accounting activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Finance, Cost, or Accounting area.
- Excellent MS Office skills, advanced Excel skills required.
- Financial Planning, Cost Accounting and Accounting process experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills with high degree of accuracy.
- Successful experience working independently, effectively, and confidently in a team environment.
- Proficient or able to understand the ERP process, SAP, Hyperion, and JDE.
