Marketing Manager, EMEA

Position Overview

This position can be based in one of our European offices: Rueil-Malmaison (France), Milan (Italy), Düsseldorf (Germany), or Newcastle (United Kingdom).
Responsible for translating global and regional strategy into effective, compliant marketing plans that accelerate growth across EMEA. The role develops and executes integrated initiatives across face-to-face and digital channels to strengthen brand awareness, support market-share expansion, and contribute to sustainable revenue growth.
Serving as the regional marketing lead for the assigned product portfolio, the Marketing Manager partners closely with country sales leadership, Global Marketing, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer- and patient-focused solutions in neurovascular care. The role places particular emphasis on downstream execution, portfolio and launch management, market insight, commercial enablement, and measurable marketing effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities
Strategy, Planning and Business Growth
  • Develop and execute EMEA marketing strategies and annual plans aligned with regional business priorities, portfolio objectives, and country needs.
  • Translate market, customer, competitive, and performance insights into clear priorities, value propositions, and actionable growth initiatives.
  • Partner with country sales leadership to shape commercial priorities, identify growth opportunities, and support consistent execution across markets.
  • Define objectives, key performance indicators, and review cadences to measure impact and continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
Portfolio, Launch and Lifecycle Management
  • Own regional lifecycle management for the assigned product portfolio, including positioning, segmentation, targeting, adoption initiatives, and portfolio optimization.
  • Lead EMEA downstream planning and execution for new product launches, ensuring launch readiness, stakeholder alignment, and effective country implementation.
  • Develop clear, differentiated, and compliant messaging, campaigns, promotional materials, and sales-enablement tools for existing and new product lines.
  • Act as the primary connection between Global Marketing and EMEA for the assigned portfolio, representing regional requirements and ensuring effective localization of global strategies and assets.
Market and Customer Insight
  • Conduct and synthesize market research, competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and business performance data to identify trends, unmet needs, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, industry associations, and strategic partners to deepen market understanding and support business objectives.
  • Monitor relevant industry, regulatory, and competitive developments and incorporate implications into regional plans and decision-making.
Integrated Marketing Execution
  • Plan and oversee integrated marketing programs across digital channels, congresses, events, advertising, content, and customer-facing assets.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications to strengthen brand awareness and thought leadership through content, social media, public relations, and engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure marketing activities and materials are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory, quality, and compliance requirements.
Cross-functional and Commercial Partnership
  • Collaborate with Sales, Clinical Affairs, Medical/Clinical Education, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing Communications, Compliance, Legal, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs to align priorities and deliver integrated plans.
  • Partner with Sales and Supply Chain in the forecasting process, providing market and launch assumptions to support demand planning and product availability.
  • Communicate plans, progress, risks, and decisions clearly to regional and global stakeholders, enabling timely alignment and execution.
Budget, Performance and Team Leadership
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets and forecasts, ensuring disciplined allocation of resources against strategic priorities.
  • Track performance against agreed objectives and metrics, communicate results, and recommend corrective actions where required.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development to EMEA marketing intern(s), fostering collaboration, inclusion, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
    Minimum of five years of marketing experience within the MedTech industry, with demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies and programs.
    Good understanding of EMEA healthcare markets, customer needs, and the regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to medical-device marketing.
    Experience operating in a matrix organization and collaborating effectively across countries, functions, and levels of seniority.
    Strong strategic, analytical, and commercial capabilities, with the ability to translate data and insights into practical actions.
    Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, and influencing skills.
    Demonstrated project-management capability, with the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
    Customer-centric and innovative mindset, combined with sound judgment and a strong focus on execution and results.
    Fluency in English.
