Finance Operations Manager
Position Overview
A global role that works in close business partnership with the Operations and other business functions to support continued growth by ensuring that working capital is optimally utilized and cost reduction initiatives have strong financial justification. Job duties:
- Establish best practices and promote a culture that emphasizes accountability, integrity, partnership, and transparency.
- Create scalable reporting process providing comprehensive global views to inventory, product cost, plant utilization, and other metrics.
- Partner with Operations team to identify and implement strategic inventory optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
- Work with the Business Excellence and Plant Operation teams to develop financial framework to properly evaluate and implement cost savings projects.
- Provide reporting and analytical support to the Operations team.
- Partner with Operations and Finance teams to standardize processes and utilization of SAP to improve financial transparency.
- Project manage global initiatives to improve financial processes and systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance.
- Eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in financial management with increasing responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and project management.
- Cost Accounting or Supply Chain Finance experience.
- At least two (2) years of people management experience.
- MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA).
- A high degree of analytical capability with the demonstrated ability to structure business case around a high-level strategic vision.
- Strong strategic skills, with the proven ability to identify and assess key points, implications, and recommendations.
- Medical device industry experience.
- Accounting/Finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
