Sr. Technician, Chemical Manufacturing
Position Overview
Supports the manufacturing and testing of chemistry-based products, aids in researching innovative ideas, and contributes to process optimization initiatives through continuous improvement projects. Focus is on both theoretical and practical solution development through the application of the scientific process. Job duties:
- Responsible for manufacturing line support via execution of process improvements, validations, synthesis and building of materials, etc.
- Performs in-process/release testing, analyzes and interprets data, and reports results.
- Writes controlled documentation including, but not limited to device records, component drawings, manufacturing procedures, and test method protocols/reports/validations.
- Confers with research/engineering personnel to prepare design modifications, clarify instructions, troubleshoot problems, and develop products.
- Investigates deviations, non-conformances, and out-of-specification results.
- Maintains laboratory raw material and supplies.
- Advocates key project decisions.
- Day to day tasks are performed under limited supervision.
- Performs other duties as assigned (create presentations, reports, etc.)

Salary Range:
$27.82/Hour - $36.51/Hour (Financial compensation packages may be higher/lower than what is listed, & will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, biz needs and market demand)
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum six (6) years of experience with materials analysis or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of basic chemistry techniques and analytical equipment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Knowledge of supplier qualifications, statistics, cGMP, ISO 9001/13485.
