Technician I, Manufacturing (Chemistry)
Position Overview
Work with Manufacturing Engineers, to support all functions related to projects, process improvements, lines start up, validations, product testing, sustaining and provide training when required.
Works with a variety of process equipment and manufacturing processes 2. Supports engineers in equipment validation & sustaining, could assist processes validations 3. Support engineers running DOEs (designed with the ME or Sr Technician) or testing as required. 4. Support Production and QA Dept in issues related to sustaining and RCAs. 5. Supports or Provides operators training if requiered. 6. Identifies and corrects common process problems. 7. Supports production or process development departments as required. 8. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 9. Drafts and route thru the QA System manufacturing documents such as work ES, IQOQ, DTs, TDs. 10. Set-ups, adjusts and operates laboratory equipment and instruments. 11. Help on designs and equipment/fixtures validation equipment/fixtures improvements-automation as required. 12. Generates reports as required. 13. Supports new line/ equipment transfers. 14. New technology implementation. 15. Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization 16. Perform additional duties, as assigned

- Required Qualifications:
1. Experience as a Technician in the medical device industry desired.
2. English level >50%
3. Associate technical degree in related field (Mechanical, electrical, electronic, other) from a Technical Institute i.e. INA.
4. Enrolled and active student in a carrer related to Engineering field (Mechanical, electrical, electronic, Industrial, Chemical or any related)
Desired Qualifications
1. Computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, Minitab 2. AutoCad or SolidWorks. 3. Good written and oral communication Spanish and English 4. Knowledge of good laboratory practices. 5. Electric/electronic and pneumatics knowledge, automation systems. 6. Knowledge in statistics 7. Knowledge on lean manufacturing practices. 8. Able to work under pressure and different type of people and personalities
