Engineer II Manufacturing-2
Position Overview
Support manufacturing products for medical devices with work including writing or verifying specifications, maintaining product process, designing fixtures, test processes, equipment, and raw material to ensure that the subassemblies and finished products meet their requirements. Job duties:
- Support of existing manufacturing processes, new products, product changes and enhancements, as well as related tooling and fixtures.
- Support validation of product, equipment, and processes.
- Interface with other departments to solve production problems.
- Monitor’s equipment maintenance program.
- Investigate and test product processes, NCR’s DC and EO’s.
- Support prototype and pilot production, facilities, and planning when appropriate.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science related field of study.
- A minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, SolidWorks and/or AutoCad.
- Statistical Knowledge (Green Belt or Black Belt).
- Intermediate written and oral English communication skills (B1 – B2).
- Read and prepare technical documentation.
- Knowledge of standard machine shop equipment and process.
- Knowledge of medical and technical development.
- Extended periods of computer use.
- Extended periods of standing or sitting.
- Light lifting, up to 25 lbs.
- May be required within the position to be in an environment that can include radiation exposure (such as in Cath labs).
