Technician I, Manufacturing - CR
Position Overview
Work with engineers, supervisors, and operators to support all functions related to manufacturing activities and provide training when required. Job duties:
- Work with a variety of process equipment.
- Support engineers in equipment or process validation studies.
- Work under general supervision to meet production demands.
- Identify and repair common equipment failures.
- Provide operator training and monitor document conformance.
- Identify and correct common process problems.
- Support production or process development as required.
- Set up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Draft manufacturing documents such as work instructions, build records, validation protocols/reports, etc.
- Build and test validation units.
- Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Graduated Technical in electronics, electromechanical, mechanical, mechatronics.
- High school diploma.
- Associate degree in related area.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in medical device industry preferred.
- Computer skills including Excel, Word, and Auto-Cad or Solid Works preferred.
- Knowledge of materials, heat treatment and plating preferred.
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices.
- Extended periods of microscope use.
- Extended periods of stand or sitting.
- Light Lifting, up to 25 lbs.
- May be required within the position to be in an environment that can include radiation exposure (such as in Cathlabs).
