Controller
Position Overview
Responsible for corporate financial records and reporting. Provide leadership and coordination of company financial analysis. Support company planning and budget management functions. Ensure company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles and IFRS and gather information to support the FP&A team with the formulation of a fiscal year budget.
- Develop strategy for all global accounting functions
- Establish accounting policies and procedures to ensure that all financial transactions are executed and documented in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and IFRS
- Analyze organization’s financial position with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budget and bring strategic insights to leadership
- Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for the accurate accounting of consolidated business results
- Coordinate preparation of consolidation of all financial data necessary for the accurate accounting of consolidated business results
- Assess current accounting operations, offer recommendations for improvement and implement new processes
- Evaluate accounting and internal control systems, including JSOX compliance
- Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations
- Oversee daily operations for the accounting department and interface with GBS
- Direct and manage financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
- Develop strategy for transfer price studies, transfer price agreements, and insurance renewals
- In conjunction with parent company’s Tax department, oversee and direct federal, state, and local tax reporting requirements for the organization
- Maintain communication with the executive management team, subsidiary finance team, and parent finance team, providing information and reporting
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships and communication with parent Accounting, Finance, and Tax departments. Participate in global accounting and finance meetings as appropriate
- Manage the treasury function for the organization including cash controls, forecasting, and actual reporting
- Lead and manage the organization’s payroll department
- Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization

Salary Range:
$187,590 - $246,212 (Financial compensation packages may be higher/lower than listed, & will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand)
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional accounting experience.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of management or leadership experience.
- Previous experience working at a multinational company.
- Very strong analytical, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles, including generally accepted accounting principles and IFRS.
- High level of technical knowledge including budgeting, cash management and financial analysis processes.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal financial regulations.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
- Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, cash management, financial analysis processes, rolling budgets and product-line profitability analysis.
- Excellent management skills, with the ability to assign and monitor work.
- General knowledge of ERP systems.
- Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Outlook, and Teams; advanced Excel skills.
- Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- CPA or internationally recognized equivalent professional accounting designation.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- SAP experience.
