Sr. Assembler, R&D (Temp Conversion)
Position Overview
Performs the assembly or sub-assembly of medical device and products in a more senior position under limited supervision from line leaders and supervisors in accordance with manufacturing documents and verbal instructions. In addition this position will have responsibility for the finished quality of the product in accordance with the quality system as set by the company. • Using written and verbal instruction to assemble and package product • Records data associated with the building of product on builds records and quality documents • Ability to meet quality standard • Perform job function within production standard on 5+ operations • Work with engineers and supervisors to perform special assembly requests • Act as backup in supervisory or lead roles
- • Ability to do small and detailed assembly work using a microscope, vision system and or related automated equipment • Strong communication skills in English to read work instructions and provide feedback to supervisors related to production issues • The ability to provide training to certified operation and audit operator performance related to documentation • Knowledge of mathematics to support the needs of production • Knowledge in measuring techniques to perform product quality assessments • Ability to read, comprehend and follow company procedures as written • HS diploma or equivalent • General knowledge of clean room procedures • Previous experience in microscope assembly in a medical device industry • Preferably 3+ years experience in medical device assembly and or packaging of products
