Associate Engineer, Manufacturing - CR
Position Overview
Assist the manufacturing operations and systems engineering. Assist in implementing manufacturing techniques, processes, tooling, and machinery to maximize manufacturing throughput. Job duties:
- Assist engineer in technical aspects of a product line.
- Analyze test data using statistical software.
- Specify supplies, raw materials and required testing for new raw materials.
- Support the Sr. Engineer in the validation of product, equipment, and processes.
- Interface with other departments to solve production problems.
- Develop and maintain equipment documentation/training aids to include critical equipment operating conditions and parameters.
- Review engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
- Record findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
- Support investigations with quality impact on the product.
- Tooling design/improvement.
- Engineering studies with pending graduation project.
- Experience in medical industry.
- Computer skills including statistical software packages, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
- Reading and preparing technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of standard machine shop equipment and process.
- Knowledge of medical and technical development.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to execute using latest manufacturing methods and requirements.
- Must be organized and methodical, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt easily to change.
